Helpful Information for Educators and Art Teachers alike.

This page contains links that are extremely helpful in Education, and especially Art Education. Through visiting these links, you may view my own personal lesson plans, as well as Wisconsin Teaching and Art Education Standards.

Also, due to budget issues in many districts, schools have become limited with what software they are able to provide within the Art Education classrooms. I have compiled a list of FREE open source programs that are available for art. Using these programs, teachers are able to teach graphic design, digital arts, and digital photography without spending money on the actual programs themselves. While budgeting is difficult, it is important that we as art educators find ways to keep digital arts in our classrooms.

There is also an additional site with a list of programs that can be used in any classroom. These FREE downloadable programs can create virtual classrooms, and assist students who may not be able to afford programs in word processing, spreadsheets, presentation, and database entry.
