Last week, Mrs. Henry came to me with a dilemma.
Her kids had made elves with Brass Fasteners and there was supposed to be a way to wire them to make their arms and legs move. The problem? The string she had wasn't working so well.
I offered her fishing line, but then mentioned that it sounded like a project that would be fun for stop motion! I quickly explained what stop motion was, and, open-minded as she is, she jumped at the chance to try it.
I gave her my iPad racks and headphones (to use as a camera clicker), and created a quick video for her to share with her students, and she was off!
I checked in with her between classes and her kids were absolutely rocking this project! They were having a blast, learning stop motion, and making their elves dance. The kids absolutely loved it and it made me so excited to do stop motion with them later this year.
