This book is simply wonderful! I came across it at a craft fair and couldn't resist! The book talks about everything from pigments to famous art pieces and is a wonderful resource for students, who especially love uncovering all of the flaps and learning the information!

Famous Paintings Flash Cards
Ok, I have to admit....I personally love these too! They were another craft show find (I fell in love with the Usborne booth!) and have fun facts about each painting on the back. These are a great way to introduce kids to art history!
The Dot
I love starting kids off with this book because it teaches them an important lesson; that everyone can make art. I love this books message of perseverance and think that it is simply perfect.
